John,
Exactly - I believe that we need to get Govt out of the way. Suspending/Removing govt placed restrictions on the way companies do business is just one way. Once Govt is out of the way - people - companies (who are run by individuals) - will begin to dig this economy out of the funk it is in. One thing I know - most successful business are successful because they know how to be successful. The root of the problem right now comes in the form of credit. That's all we hear about - loans - bad loans - banks not being able to borrow or loan. If we took away some of the restrictions on business, there would be an immediate influx of cash into the system - and it wouldn't come from Govt.

Just my two cents. I am bout to write a piece on personal responsibility which is another component to recovery.

Do you also beleive that we should be able to come together as one people. and one nation and put our currency to work for ourselves instead of depending on the gov. system. We need to be able to take a chance ourselves instead of wallstreet etc.
